Martin first met the Red Bull Air Race representatives in 2007. He passed qualification camps in 2009 and obtained The Superlicence. He was consequently certified as a beginner for the season 2010.Read more

Martin Šonka is the member of the Czech Republic representation in the aerobatics since 2005, where he flies the aeroplane SU-31. These days, he belongs to the elite among world aerobatic pilots.Read more

Martin had a possibility to try flying the aeroplanes like L-29 Dolphin, L-39 Albatros and L-159 Alca during the 10 years period of his career. He becomes a display pilot of the army aeroplane Alca in 2009.Read more
